At least 23 people lose their lives after drinking spurious liquor
Kuttippuram:The spurious liquor tragedy in Kuttippuram and Wandoor in Malappuram district has already claimed 23 lives. Many more are in various hospitals in serious condition.
Of the deceased four are Tamilians. There is a couple as well among those who lost their lives.
Gang member who was among the attackers of prof T.J.Joseph nabbed
The police have succeeded in nabbing a member of the gang which attacked prof T.J.Joseph and chopped one of his hands off.
It was Shamsuddin of Perumbavoor who was arrested by the police. It is reported that he was accosted while he was returning to the state from Tiruchirappally.
