The last two days in Kerala have been witnessing pathetic scenes with the death by now of 23 persons after drinking spurious liquor in the Malabar area.
The pity is that all of them are poor people.

A king had a court jester to whom he gave a walking stick and said, "Give this stick to anyone you find who is a greater fool than you are."

Then one day the king lay down to die and he complained. "I'm going to a foreign country and I'm never coming back."

The court jester told him, "King you knew rightly well that one day you would be going to that strange land. I'm sure that you must have done everything to make sure that you would have a house to move into there."

And as the king admitted that he had not done this, the jester passed the walking stick over to the king and said, "It belongs to you. You are a bigger fool than I am."
