Neyyattinkara line-up is getting clear.
Now the line-up of candidates in the ensuing by-election in Neyyattinkara is getting clear. There would be a Congress candidate, R.Selvaraj, a CPMK candidate F.Lawrence and BJP candidate O.Rajagopal.

O.Rajagopal is a very senior leader compared to other contestants.

The BJP has always been trying to have presence in Kerala Assembly which as of now has not materialised.

The question is whether NSS would support Rajagopal or not. Or whether NSS would support the LDF candidate.

Various representatives have been calling on NSS general secretary G.Sukumaran Nair these days. The first one was M.Vijayakumar of the CPM who might have had aspirations to contest the Neyyattinkara seat. But his party was not amenable to it.

CPM politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has also been getting in touch with Sukumaran Nair.

Meanwhile, BJP state president V.Muralidharan also held talks with G.Sukumaran Nair.

The latest entrant to the visitation programme is Vaikunatam Swami Dharma Pracharasabha or VSDP.

Let us see whether the NSS would give open call for conscience voting or whether it would take a public posture.

O.Rajagopal also has every right to try his hand with all forms of support that can be managed.

Let the Congress Party, the CPM and the BJP try their best and let the people choose their representative in the most democratic manner.
